About Me


Elinda (Lin) Starman has worked in the field of education

for over 25 years as a Special Education teacher. She holds a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities and has completed extensive post

graduate work in the areas of learning styles, language and learning, autism, behavioral management, multiple intelligences, and self esteem

issues in children.

During her teaching career, Lin was considered to be an expert in behavioral management and

intervention. She has conducted numerous workshops for parents and professionals on effective parenting skills and positive behavioral

interventions for children. Lin is a certified instructor of the Redirecting Children’s Behavior course and conducts courses in Power

Struggles, Consequences That Work and Balancing Love and Discipline.

In addition to working with parents to develop family harmony,

Lin enjoys golfing, skiing, exercising and reading since her retirement from the field of education. She is a mother of 3 grown children,

stepmother of 2 and grandmother of 7 beautiful grandchildren.
